Leora Yates Earns General Financial Services Diploma from the Center for Financial Training

Guaranty Bank is pleased to announce that Leora Yates, branch banker representative at the bank’s Kearney Banking Center in Springfield, recently completed required course work for the Center for Financial Training’s Intro to Financial Services Certificate as well as its General Financial Services Diploma.

Upon successful completion of the General Financial Services Diploma, students gain both general knowledge and specific competencies that establish a foundation for a successful career in the financial services industry. Courses included Principles of Banking, Economics, Marketing, Accounting, Business Math, and Money and Banking, among others.

Yates joined Guaranty Bank in November of 2017 as a teller. In December of 2018 she was promoted to branch banker representative. Yates is also currently enrolled in the CFT’s Advanced Financial Services Diploma program. The CFT has served the educational needs of the financial services industry since 1901 and enrolls more than 10,000 financial institution employees in a variety of education and training programs each year.
